Scissors & Tape

Scissors & Tape is a program that reads in a drum, or other loop, calculates the BPM (from user information about the number of beats there are in the sample), alters the BPM (if the user wishes) and then chops the wave up into its component parts.

Current planned enhancements

• Auto detection of number of beats
• Component parts detection based on peaks, not location in sample (as currently)
• Display of cut points, and possibility of movement
• Script capablities, to re-arrange component parts into a new loop
